WELCOME TO FOUR OAKS MEDICAL CENTRE

The practice was established in the 1920’s and has greatly expanded over the last 80 years encompassing all aspects of medical care. We are part of Birmingham CrossCity Clinical Commissioning Group and aim to provide the highest possible level of care for our patients. In 1999 we became a Primary Care Beacon for our work with diabetic patients.

We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

From 1st July 2017 our practice joined together with a number of other local practices to create a new single, large merged practice called "Sutton Coldfield Group Practice".  This will give us more time to spend with our patients and provide you with a better health service.

Ear Syringing

The service will no longer be available at the surgery from 1 October 2017.  Ear syringing is an invasive treatment and does have a number of risks.  We now advise conservative treatment of softening the wax to allow its natural migration from the ear.

We have produced a leaflet giving details of various forms of this treatment, along with information on local hearing centres who will accept self-referrals.  Leaflets are available at Reception or by clicking the link here.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To offer the highest quality health care that is comprehensive, holistic and responsive to the patient as an individual. We aim to do this with honesty and integrity, involving the patient in decisions about their care in an environment conducive to wellbeing for both patients and staff alike.

Access

There is full disabled access, with free parking in reserved spaces in the adjacent council car park. There are disabled toilet facilities located on the ground floor and a lift to the surgery which is located on the first floor.

Further Information

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like. You can download our practice leaflet here.
